Just how important is self-care? A recent study from Harvard Business Review reveals powerful evidence that self-care should probably be at the top of our priority lists:
- 62% of people experienced burnout more frequently in 2020
- 89% of people said their work life had worsened
- Only 21% rated their well-being as “good”
- And a mere 2% rated their well-being as “excellent.”
Not long ago, I was interviewed by Medium.com for an article they released about the importance of self-care. We often think of self-care as “physical” but I think that mental and emotional self-care are even more important, as I discuss in my latest book, The Forgotten Choice.
In honor of World Health Day (April 7), what is the most important self-care habit you can adopt right now? I’d love to hear from you!
