Just how important is self-care?

Just how important is self-care? A recent study from Harvard Business Review reveals powerful evidence that self-care should probably be at the top of our priority lists:

  • 62% of people experienced burnout more frequently in 2020
  • 89% of people said their work life had worsened
  • Only 21% rated their well-being as “good”
  • And a mere 2% rated their well-being as “excellent.”

Not long ago, I was interviewed by for an article they released about the importance of self-care. We often think of self-care as “physical” but I think that mental and emotional self-care are even more important, as I discuss in my latest book, The Forgotten Choice.
