Q1. How many thoughts per day does the average human have?
Q2. Are those thoughts generally more positive or more negative?
Q3. What percentage of those thoughts change from one day to the next?
According to the National Science Foundation, the answers are:
A1. Up to 60,000 thoughts per day.
A2. 80% of those thoughts are negative.
A3. Only ~5% change from one day to the next.
So, our thoughts are mainly negative AND they aren’t changing much. But the world around us is changing dramatically.
Sounds like it’s time for a “Thoughts 2.0” refresh, don’t you think? What thoughts do YOU have that are no longer serving you?
