A key question for leaders today: Are you prepared to let go of “what is”?
With so much change taking place in the world and in business, most leaders recognize that they need to let go of the PAST – that’s pretty clear.
But I challenge leaders to go a step further: We must let go of the PRESENT, too.
Why? Because the present is a reflection of the past. What we experience today is simply an outcome of what has come before.
So, for leaders who truly want to create a different future, that means not only letting go of “what WAS,” but also letting go of what we know about our current reality – our “what IS.”
What I’m finding: In today’s fast-paced, constantly changing environment, leaders who embrace this mindset and approach will be those who inspire and lead their organizations and teams into the future.
What do you think? Who are the leaders you see doing this today, and what are the outcomes?
