What an honor it was to present a keynote address today for one of our corporate clients, in which I offered stories, tips, and examples around the important topics of Inclusion and Diversity.
During the speech, I shared that we often think of diversity in terms of what we can SEE or HEAR or TOUCH (color of skin, gender, age, religious beliefs, clothing people wear, accents/the way someone speaks, the culture we were raised in, etc.). All of those are “outside” indicators of diversity, but I encouraged the audience today to focus on the foundation of all diversity: diversity of thought.
What do you think?
