Today marks my 10th year of living in Singapore, and 2021 marks 27 years in total of living abroad!
One of the things I have enjoyed most about having lived on multiple continents and in many different countries is experiencing a variety of local cultural traditions.
The Lunar New Year will be here in a few days, and one related tradition is to give tangerines or oranges to guests who come to your home. It symbolizes passing on good fortune and good luck.
Since very few people can actually visit my home these days, I’m passing on these virtual oranges to YOU, wishing all of my Instagram connections a wonderful Year of the Ox!
